Sunshine ☼
You said that you’re not sure,
If what we felt was real.
You said it… many years ago;
But tell me ☼
 -Why it hurts me so
The moment…
When I think of you

I tried to walk away,
To live a normal life.
I even tried- to hate you!
   But tell me ☼
 -Why I couldn’t stop my tears,
When night fell…though I tried,
  And still I thought of you.


I hope you’re doing fine,
Out there- without me
You’ve found a hand to hold,
And meaning in it all
I know the time will pass,
And you’ll forget my name
But ☼-till I die
I’ll think of you… each day.
